Teaching English with Drama

This course will engage you in a series of practical and energising drama based activities for use in the language classroom.

These activities will help you develop better group dynamics, sharing skills and a heightened awareness of the ways you communicate with your students. 

Programme of the training activities:

1. 
   Group co-ordination and trust exercises 
2. 
   Warmers for the classroom 
3. 
   Using the body to learn vocabulary and language structures 
4. 
   Story telling techniques 
5. 
   Creative play through improvisation using the voice and body 
6. 
   Developing your own communication skills 
7. 
   Using intonation, stress, rhythm and pauses for dramatic effect 
8. 
   Exercises to assist drama group leaders 

The course aims to provide participants with a series of drama-based techniques that will allow them to teach more creatively and effectively.  

Please note: you do NOT need any previous experience of drama to follow this course!
